Non-resident income tax
Once you have purchased a property in Spain, and if you are not legally resident in Spain, you will be obliged to file an annual non-resident income tax return.
Residence for UK citizens
Depending on your situation:
- If you were in possession of an EU Residence Certificate at the time of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, or
- In the event that you have not yet begun to reside in Spain, we will advise you on the steps to follow if you wish to obtain legal residence in Spain.
